Nuevo Vallarta Mexico
We just returned from a week at the Vallarta Palace and it was wonderful. When you travel with Humble Travel it truly is a worry free vacation. The hotel was clean and we never found anyone that wasn't friendly and helpful. What a beautiful beach area, too. We were served the finest food and drink, and the bathroom scale DOES reflect that!! Thanks to Arlene and all her planning. We can't wait till next year! Leanne & Steve

FIRST TRIP TO HAWAII
RECOMMENDATIONS ON OAHU 1. Use city bus system in Honolulu. Buses run on time and drivers are helpful. 2. Take city bus to Diamondhead and climb to the top. Not a bad climb with stairs and a tunnel. Will need sunblock, a hat, and some water. 3. Take city bus to Punchbowl National Cemetery. Will need to climb a long steep hill, but it is worth the climb. Tour buses will not stop in the Punchbowl Cemetery. 4. Take tour bus trip to all major attractions on island. Need to see Pearl Harbor, Arizona Memorial, Dole Plantation, and Polynesian Center. ON HAWAII (LARGE ISLAND) 5. Recommend Volcano National Park on southwest side of island. Do everything available like watch movie, go to museum, walk through lava tube, view volcano crater, etc. Will need sunblock, hat, and water. 6. Drive to South Point and view famous wind blown trees. Road to South Point is narrow and rough. Will need hat but hang on to it. 7. Recommend Akaka Falls State Park on northeast side of island, which is in a rainforest area. Will need a raincoat and hat, but water will be provided. 8. If possible drive the Saddle Road between the volcanoes. Road is narrow and steep in places, but some parts are new. Passengers should look for multiple rainbows while the driver watches the road. 9. Sample the local food like poi and pokey. Afterwards, drink several Mai Tai’s to help forget local food.
Enjoy the sunsets and the weather. Aloha.

Alaska Land/Cruise vacation
Nikki, Thank you so much for all you did and all the help you showed in getting us ready for our Alaska vacation. We had a fantastic time and loved every minute of it. Your agency made it so easy. We had all the right documents and every thing was made very, very easy. We had a ball and would not change a thing. We felt very well informed and in the "light" on things all the time. Holland America was great. We have nothing but great remarks to share. Encourage people to take the excursion on the Bering Sea Crab Tour in Ketchikan. Fantastic tour!! Way over the top of what their flyer shows. Thanks Nikki, you were great and so helpful.

Couples Negril, Jamaica
We had a wonderful time at Couples Negril for our honeymoon this past June. We initially had wanted to stay at a Sandals resort but were unable to book our trip because they were full so we settled for Couples instead and couldn't have been happier. The staff was very friendly and courteous upon arrival, providing cool towels and refreshments after our shuttle from the airport and carrying our bags to our room. We found fresh flowers in our room daily sprinkled on the bed with towels folded into swans and hearts, etc... and our room was always very clean and comfortable. The drinks at the bar (swim up was our favorite) were excellent and they even had a self-serve bar where you could help yourself if your drink wasn't strong enough. The food at the resort was amazing, with a variety of restaurants to choose from, including Otaheite: the only restaurant at the resort requiring reservations but the 5-course meal was outstanding. We also ate at the Heliconia Grill alot because of their Italian dinners. There was always plenty to do at the resort as well. We had fun snorkeling, night snorkeling (extra fee), jet skiing, kayaking, and we even took the beginner's scuba course which we highly recommend... we got to dive in the ocean, went down 40 ft, and even saw a 8 ft nurse shark up close! They had bonfires, dance parties at the piano bar, and live bands at the cassava terrace at night. During the day we enjoyed the beautiful weather floating in the clear ocean on one of the numerous white couples rafts that were available, or relaxing by the swim-up bar or playing volleyball in the pool. It was a very friendly, laid-back atmosphere and nice to not have noisy kids running around. We also enjoyed 2 amazing couples massages while we were there (one complimentary with proof that we were newlyweds). Overall, we loved every minute of our 7 night stay and will definitely be returning for anniversaries in the future. We would recommend this resort to any couple. Thanks Humble Travel!

Secret Harbour, St. Thomas
Our visit to St. Thomas, our stay at Secret Harbour, and the people we encountered were great. We had an oceanview suite a short walk from and on a level with the well-maintained pool. The suite was very nicely appointed with the owner's personal decor and a fully equipped kitchen, with maid service every day. There was a panoramic view of the bay and surrounding hills from our balcony, and there were spectacular flowers and plants everywhere with humming birds sipping nectar from the flowers and a few iguanas eating the foliage. It was sunny with a few clouds and about 80F every day, 73F at night, and there was always a nice breeze blowing through the place: not too hot, not to cold. There was some morning rain the first two days, but we used the rain the day after we arrived to rest up a little and go to the grocery store in Red Hook (about a 5 minute drive) for breakfast, lunch, and snack stuff. Food is pretty expensive: milk 5 ot 6 dollars a gallon, bananas a dollar a pound. Gas was about $2.60 a gallon. Likewise, the restaurants are expensive, but we had a wide variety of great food and enjoyed our dining experiences. We had meals at the resort, a couple of places in Red Hook, and once in Charlotte Amalie. There is a very good restaurant at the resort right on the beach with a covered, more formal, area and a patio for casual dining. The beach at the resort was excellent and well maintained. A few extra people would come on cruise ship days but weren't a problem. There was a nice little wedding with steel drum accompaniment on the beach one day. We were provided with beach towels and lounges. The people at the resort were a mix of retirees/owners, families, couples without children, a few newlyweds, and few locals. There was a dive shop right there for scuba and snorkeling gear rental, and we enjoyed the snorkeling and swimming very much. Lots of colorful fish, some sea turtles, and squid. The water was great: very calm because of the protected location, refreshing, and very clear. From a distance the color of the water ranged from cyan and turquoise to sky blue and purple, spectacular. We traveled around the island by cab. The fares for most destinations are specified for point-to-point and there are no meters, so you knew what it would cost in advance, and all of the licensed cabs charged that fare. We never had to wait for a cab anywhere. They're always right there waiting. The fares added up to be more than it would have cost to rent a car, but we weren't ready to drive on this trip. The roads are well maintained but very narrow, steep, and twisting. They drive on the opposite side from the US, but the vehicles are lefthand drive like here, not righthand drive as in Britain. We went up to a place called Drake's Seat, where we had panoramic views of Magan's Bay and Peterborg, St. John, the British Virgin Islands, St. Croix, and Charlotte Amalie. This viewpoint is higher than Paradise Point (skyride) and offers better views for the same cab fare without the charge for the lift ride. We also enjoyed Coral World aquarium and Coki Beach (about a 10 minute ride from Secret Harbour). Charlotte Amalie offers a lot of shopping, and the historical part of town was enjoyable to just walk around, enjoying the sights and the weather. We really enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend Secret Harbour and St. Thomas. We'll go back as soon as we can.

San Diego, CA
Cindy always helps us plan great trips! We have just dotted down some notes that we will share: Flights were great! *Delta charged us $15 each for 1 piece of checked luggage at check in which surprised us. *Alaska Airplanes were very nice! Hotel: Dana on Mission Bay *Clean and very comfortable *Grounds were beautiful *Hot tubs / pools were great *Complimentary continental breakfast was delicious! *Employees were very nice. Visited: *Navy Pier and the ship, Midway *Walked to Mission Beach a couple of times *On our walks we found a great pizza restaurant called Fillipi's. The waitresses there told us about a fantastic seafood restaurant in the same vicinity - "The Fishery" on Cass Street. The seafood was delicious! You could dress casually. *Took the ferry to Coronado Island and walked to see the Hotel del Coronado which was beautiful! *Gaslamp District - wandered around and had drinks at several of the bars in the area *San Diego seemed to be a very clean city. *We took a taxi or walked everywhere and were happy with that decision. We don't like driving in the big city and the parking everywhere was expensive! Minneapolis Hotel Country Inn and Suites West Bloomington was a fantastic way to start and end the trip! As always, Cindy, thanks so much for all of your help. We will call you again!

Hawaiian Trip
We were very pleased with the trip Cindy helped us plan. The Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach resort was excellent! We would definitely stay there again. For people on their first trip to Hawaii the bus tour of Oahu is terrific to get a full overview of the island. All in all a great trip. We need to learn more about the other islands. We can't wait to go back!!

Flights
After Spending several hours looking for tickets online I did find some out of Chicago. I needed five and was still not happy about the drive and not being able to line up dates and times that we wanted... I called Cindy and she found tickets out of Moline for the right dates and times and they were cheaper. I won't be messing with those travel sites anymore.

Rivera Maya-Excellence Resort
Johnny booked us another fabulous trip-this one took us to the Excellence Resort in Rivera Maya. The resort was very large and very lavish. The staff was extremely friendly (they even gave us a few poolside spanish lessons). The rooms were large and nice, complete with 24 hour room service. Adam did the scuba diving excursion part of a day and really enjoyed it. The excursion people were so friendly and had great suggestions so we did a snorkeling excursion the next day. I believe they said the Rivera Maya has the second largest barrier reef, next to the Great barrier reef. So we got to snorkel with a shark (a breed with no teeth, don't worry!) and a stingray. The food was excellent-I believe there were 8 or 9 different restaurants that ranged from Mexican to a lobster house. There was nightly entertainment as well as entertainment throughout the day (tequila tasting, spanish bingo, texas hold 'em lessons, volleyball, etc). We went on a complimentary tour to a near by town called Puerto Morelos. It was very uncommercialized and had very authentic food. The hotel took us to and from at no additional charge. As usual, we had a stress and worry free vacation at a fabulous resort, thanks to Johnny. We will be visiting the Excellence again and will continue to utilize Johnny in all our travel needs...After all, he's sent us to Rome, St. Lucia, Vegas, Mexico.....

Puerta Vallerta
We spend a week over Christmas in Puerta Vallerta. Johnny helped us book a GREAT spot at the Riu hotel. The beach was great, the food and drinks were amazing, and the whole trip exceeded our expectations. We took my son, whom is just over one year old and he had a blast as well. The staff at the Riu were WONDERFUL to him and we enjoyed every minute of the trip. Thanks for the great planning and help Johnny!

Disney Trip Nov. 2008
We had a great time and everything was very well planned out by Jacqui ahead of time. There was no fussing or worrying about dinner reservations at the major restaurants within Disney. We were able to do and see everything we wanted and this happened only because of the preplanning. Had we went without her help I am sure things would not have gone as smoothly and we would have missed out on some of the best restaurants. Reservations book up sometimes 6 mths in advance. Who would have ever thought you need to have an intinerary for a trip to Disney. Thanks Jacqui we will be back for your help again in a few years for another trip to Disney.
