Humble Travel Service, Ltd opened its doors in November of 1961 at 109 West 2nd Street in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Our company was founded by current CEO & Secretary Bonnie Humble, as a one woman operation in a small office with one desk. Assisting her part-time was husband Bob Humble, a full-time employee with Braniff International Airways at the Waterloo Municipal Airport. In January of 1963, Bonnie opened her second office in Waterloo. That Fall, Braniff discontinued service to Waterloo, and Bob came into Humble Travel full-time. Gregg Humble, current President and son of Bob and Bonnie, joined the business in 1979 upon graduation from UNI’s Business School. In addition, Arlene Collins, now Arlene Humble and current Vice President, joined Humble Travel in 1981.  Recently, in 2007, we streamlined our operations by combining our Waterloo office with the Cedar Falls location. The office has been completely renovated with new furniture, equipment and the latest in computer technology.
Our agency is made up of experienced travelers who are travel professionals.
